Ash Flooring
Ash is the lightest of the Nordic hardwoods - pale, open-grained and reflective, it makes a low-ceilinged or north-facing room read noticeably brighter. The grain is long and straight with far fewer knots than oak, so the floor stays calm underfoot rather than busy. Every board is sawn and finished in Sweden.

Why Choose Ash Flooring?

The brightest hardwood in the range
Ash has a naturally high light reflectance value, so it bounces daylight back into the room instead of absorbing it - the single easiest way to lift a dark space without touching the walls.
Harder than oak on the Janka scale
Despite looking delicate, ash is denser than European oak, which makes it a genuinely practical choice for hallways and living rooms that see daily traffic.
30-year residential warranty
Same structural guarantee as the rest of the Kährs hardwood range, and the wear layer can be sanded back and refinished several times over the floor's life.
