CRAFTBREW BAR

Kährs wood flooring has been specified for a stunning floor and wall surface installation at Salford Quay’s new CraftBrew Bar. Installed as part of an extensive refit, Kährs Oak Sture was chosen for its rustic grain and contemporary grey-toned finish, along with performance benefits. The one-strip boards were installed through the bar floor area and clad onto walls, to create a fluid panel aesthetic. Housed in the Digital World Centre on Lowry Plaza, CraftBrew is a rustic café-bar with an eclectic interior design. The tone and tactile finish of Oak Sture adds to the venue’s intimate feel, which combines wood and metal finishes, abundant spot lighting and a stunning mural across one wall.

CLARION HOTEL SIGN

Created by architect Gert Wingårdh, and just a few steps away from Stockholm’s Central Train Station, this five-star hotel is renowned for its stunning glass and polished black granite exterior. It is the city’s largest hotel and combines the best of Scandinavian architecture, design and culinary art. More than 7,000 sq. metres of calm, white-toned [ ] Created by architect Gert Wingårdh, and just a few steps away from Stockholm’s Central Train Station, this five-star hotel is renowned for its stunning glass and polished black granite exterior. It is the city’s largest hotel and combines the best of Scandinavian architecture, design and culinary art. More than 7,000 sq. metres of calm, white-toned Oak Sorrento was installed in the hotel rooms. For the exclusive Selma CitySpa, situated on the roof above the eighth floor, Oak Como was installed as a decorative wall cladding, as well as underfoot.

LUSH

Kährs hardwood flooring Oak Sevede has been installed at the Liverpool Lush store in various areas including the spa and office sections. The Liverpool flagship store, which is the world’s biggest Lush store, is a destination with Lush products, a spa section, hair salon, perfume library and a florist all in the premises. Lush is well known for their work with environmental concerns and strong ethical practices. “Our beliefs and ethics are at the centre of everything we do and, as such, it is important that our suppliers have the right credentials and fit with these beliefs. We have chosen Kährs to supply our spa flooring and we are really happy with the result that we have been able to achieve with this collaboration”, said Rosie Goodbourn, Materials Researcher for Lush.

HÄSTENS SHOWROOM

Founded in 1852, Hästens is Sweden’s oldest bed manufacturer. Craftsmanship and quality are synonymous with the company, where beds are still handmade, using only natural filling materials. Loved by cottage and palace dwellers alike, Hästens has had the honour of being the supplier of beds to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden since 1952. For the design of the company’s showroom in Newport Beach, California, a vibrant Ash Kalmar floor was chosen for its Scandinavian feel.

The interior design concept of Vaivai restaurant in Frankfurt is a combination of raw industry look and Italian “Fiera” atmosphere. Different materials were installed to give room’s unique charm and character. The combination of new/old and the expression of the urban way of life play a major role in this concept. The vintage design boards from Kährs are a perfect contrast to the modern design furniture and the bare concrete.

Feines Haus restaurant is recognised as one of the top restaurants in Austria. The restaurant, gourmet corner, snack bar together with a delicatess store make Feines Haus the hotspot of Villach. The boards of Grande Castillo help this restaurant achieve its rustic charm.
