Originally built in 1857, St. Philips Church and its adjacent halls in Earls Court Road, west London, has undergone extensive refurbishment by architects, Hemingway & Cumbo. Works to the vicarage, parish and the London diocese included internal alterations, in addition to roofing, cleaning, repairs to its landmark tower and restoration of stained glass. Oak Hampshire, a rustic 1-strip multi-layered wood floor, was laid floating throughout the interior.

CARLTON SQUARE

Surrounding a spectacular courtyard, with pools and landscaping that reflects the garden design of an Italian lake villa, this new development is a stunning example of old meets new. The 19th century villa apartments retain many original features and high ceilings, whilst the new-build apartments provide a minimalistic, contemporary finish with dual aspect living areas. Linnea wood flooring provides durability and easy maintenance throughout this residential development. A mix of Walnut and Oak has been installed in the lounges, dining and hallway areas of 14 villas and 33 apartments.

CONVIVIUM

After this long career, Marco Antino, decided to create a new proposal for a more democratic palate. The idea is to satisfy the more casual palate. Also to Italians living in the Peru, and those who enjoy Italian food. The name of the restaurant is its etymology, since Convivium means participate in a feast, drink wine, celebrate something. I.e., it has the same meaning as Symposium (in Greek), his signature restaurant (voted the best Italian restaurant 5 years in a row). Marco, 45, Italian born “food artist” created an Italian corner in downtown San Isidro, the most exclusive neighborhood in Lima, Peru. Convivium, guarantees the authentic Italian recipes and flavors. Special and rare ingredients are flown directly from Italy, as well as the most sophisticated Italian wines; some of which cost over $5,000.00 a bottle. Decoration and design was extremely important. Every single details was carefully selected. Top european brands were chosen to be part of this venture. Marco, after reviewing several options decided to install Kahrs Supreme Grande Casa. Kahrs Casa is the protagonist of the restaurant and mandates the decoration and color of the walls and furniture, specially brought from Italy. Presently Convivium is fully booked weeks in advance, making it a must for all traditional Italian food lovers.

HÄSTENS SHOWROOM

Founded in 1852, Hästens is Sweden’s oldest bed manufacturer. Craftsmanship and quality are synonymous with the company, where beds are still handmade, using only natural filling materials. Loved by cottage and palace dwellers alike, Hästens has had the honour of being the supplier of beds to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden since 1952. For the design of the company’s showroom in Newport Beach, California, a vibrant Ash Kalmar floor was chosen for its Scandinavian feel.

Sportina Group is one of the largest fashion retailers in the region of South-East Europe, with over 330 shops and more than 60 brands. 400 m2 of Kährs Oak Foschia from the Domani Collection have been installed in one of Sportina Group’s shops in Celje, Slovenia.

SAILS

Overlooking the Quay, ‘Sails’ is a striking collection of eco-homes inspired by an ocean clipper. The dramatic, landmark project includes five apartments and a penthouse. The two white-toned designs from Kährs Artisan Collection – Oak Linen and Oak Oyster – were chosen to represent a coastal feel.

HOTEL ALTES KAUFHAUS

Altes Kaufhaus hotel was designed in consideration of former plans and pictures with its baroque gable from the 16th century. As it’s built on the old wall of the harbor, the hotel seems to hover over the bank of Ilmenau in Lüneburgs historic water quarter. The extraordinary hotel features modern interior and a cozy atmosphere of warm and light colors which have been completed by 450m2 of Kahrs Oak Linen.
