The floor specified for the TC Training Centre was originally a laminate. However, the performance and visual benefits of a hardwood floor convinced the owners to invest in a genuine wood product. Other advantages included fast and simple installation, with easy cleaning and minimum ongoing maintenance. Flooring contractor, HolzMaXX, installed 100 square metres of Kährs Hard Maple Ontario and 450 squares metres of Cherry Santa Barbara throughout the facility. Choice of floor: Hard Maple Ontario and Cherry Santa Barbara

The Kvänum in Malmö is one of Kvänum’s biggest showrooms. They operate across the whole of southern Skåne, from Landskrona to Smygehamn and from Falsterbonäset to Österlen. Kährs’ Oak Jersey, a rustic oak board with bevelled edges and a nature oiled surface, is used in the showroom.

HOTEL ZUR POST

A feel-good hotel with a personal character is the ideal place for those who value both traditional hospitality and active holidays. With this maxim, the four-star hotel “Zur Post” Ruhpolding welcomes its fifth generation guests – and all this in the midst of the Chiemgau Alps. After a lengthy reconstruction and renovation period since 2012, the Rechl family now presents 28 rooms and 20 suites in a contemporary alpine style. The bridge between tradition and modernity succeeds with a furnishing mix of old and new materials and 500 m² of the natural oiled wood flooring planks Oak Straw from Kährs Artisan Collection.

HOTEL SCHWANEN

Hotel Schwanen stands for extraordinary hospitality in the region of Swabian Alb. Schwanen guest rooms show depth and space through the means of intelligent lighting. Floral motives of the surrounding environment reserve have been installed in the rooms to stand for timeless modernity, love of nature and regional identity. The strong features were complemented by Kährs wood flooring, which fitted into the environment naturally.

B1 LOUNGE

Located along Austria’s longest racing track, the B1 Lounge has opened. The new dining area is a combination of a bar, restaurant and lounge which has been completed in a particularly warm and stylish ambience. The best material has been used for the installation, giving this exceptional Sportgaststätte a special flair of excellence that can be enjoyed by racing fans. 250 m² of Kahrs Oak Unico were used for floors, walls, ceilings and tables.

Barrington & Associates is a leading investment banking firm, with headquarters in Los Angeles and offices in Boston, Newport Beach, and San Francisco. After a successful year’s trading, Barrington & Associates expanded its capabilities in San Francisco and moved into larger premises. The choice of floor for the new office was elegant, warm-toned Oak Lexington.
